30 Days of TAH - Day 17
tl;dr: Favorite historical reference or figure?
My favorite one definitely hands down is the Cthulhu reference which doubled as a jab at door-to-door religion salespeople. Lovecraft is my favorite author and I believe he would really appreciate the way Acker and Blacker portrayed both the Old One and the zealots.
pairings where they “hate” each other but would be devastated if anything happened to one another aRE MY FUCKING WEAKNESS
hermione for today’s sketch_dailies
that glorious moment when you find video evidence of Sparks and Croach kissing
Since it’s been awhile since the story behind this has been told, Hal told us that this happened at the very last MBar show before TAH moved to Largo. This was the end of the very last episode of Sparks Nevada, Marshal on Mars before canon reset in the Largo move.
Yes. This is the canon MBar ending of Sparks Nevada.

30 Days of Thrilling Adventure Hour: Day 15
tl;dr: Any recommendations??
If you are a fan of Thrilling Adventure Hour and haven’t listened to Welcome to Night Vale, a) where have you been and b) change that right now. These two are sibling podcasts and both are brilliant.
For the unindoctrinated, I describe Welcome to Night Vale like this: If David Lynch, H.P. Lovecraft, and the original writers of The Twilight Zone all sat down to write a radioplay, Welcome to Night Vale is the ultimate result. It’s a beautiful balance of hope and existential terror told by one of the most charismatic and frightening actors out there, Cecil Baldwin. Check it out for free on iTunes!
